ROSES IN THE RAIN

Who are we? RitR was started as a hobby by Betty Fred in 2020. Yep, right in the middle of Covid Lockdown... We specialize in Do-It-Yourself or DIY Crafts. We offer Paint the Plank (paint and sip) classes, custom wood signs, and Home Studio Boxes.

When we opened we used the name Studio 87. But two years later we decided on moving our location from Betty's basement to 656 Villard St. W. in Dickinson. With the location change, came the name change. Another business downtown Dickinson also uses Studio and a number. Although our services are completely different, we decided it would be best to change our name to avoid confusion. That is where the name "Roses In The Rain" starts.

The meaning behind Roses In The Rain.

On December 6, 2021 my family's life was rocked. We lost our most beautiful angel, my niece, Dahlia Rose. At just 14 months old, our precious baby taught us more than we could have taught ourselves in a lifetime. She was the absolute light of all of us. 
My sister-in-law told me in the past, to help Dahlia sleep, she would play her music from Christina Perri. I have loved this album ever since. The title "Roses In The Rain" popped out at me because Dahlia's middle name is Rose. At the time, I didn't know the song was actually about losing a baby. After mulling it over, it was decided. The new business name was for our beautiful angel Dahlia.
